About Alexandra Barton
Alex had severe M.E. herself for a total of 12 years and has been completely well for the last 15 years. She is now 59. She specialises in helping people with chronic fatigue and M.E. to improve their health. Her main interest is in nutrition, which she used for her own recovery. She also uses her coaching and counselling skills to help people focus on the steps they need to take towards recovery. As an ex-M.E. sufferer, nurse, coach and nutritional therapist, Alex is in a unique position to understand and help people with CFS/ME and has helped over 1000 clients to improve their health, mood and fitness.

Alex is the author of: “Recovery from CFS – 50 Personal Stories”, a collection of 50 inspirational stories of recovery from CFS and M.E.
Alex as nutritional therapist and a member of BANT
Alex has found nutrition to be the most important step towards a sustained recovery both for herself and many of her clients. Alex is a member of the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy. This is the professional body for Nutritional Therapists. Alex has a background in nursing, which means that she understands the medical aspects of CFS/ME.
